Aligarh to AI — Aamir’s Journey of Reinvention and Revolution

When you meet Aamir, you don’t just meet a tech entrepreneur — you meet someone who’s walked through fire and come out curious, conscious, and ready to change the world.

Raised in Aligarh, Aamir carries the warmth of his roots and the drive of someone who’s seen rejection and still kept showing up. “I completed my mechanical engineering, worked at Honda as a production engineer, then moved to Australia. I applied to over 300 jobs and got nothing,” he shares, not with bitterness, but with clarity.

That rejection? It became fuel. What began as an engineer’s pursuit became something far deeper — a journey of self-acceptance, and more importantly, evolution.

Today, Aamir runs ‘Enterprise Monkey, a unique brand that began as a creative rebellion and now offers software and AI solutions to help companies adapt and grow. But why ‘ EnterpriseMonkey’? “Because if you trace back the human journey, we all started evolving… except a few organizations and leaders who just stopped. That’s the Monkey Syndrome,” he says with a smile.

What started as an idea is now serious business — Aamir now sits on the Australian Government’s advisory board for digital evolution and ethics.

In the heart of his work lies a deep question: What makes us human in a world run by machines? Aamir isn’t afraid to explore uncomfortable thoughts.

“Everyone’s talking about Elon Musk’s Neuralink and chips inside humans. That’s not science fiction anymore,” he says. “The apps we use today are already controlling our decisions. Your phone knows you better than you know yourself. It’s powerful — and scary.”

While AI excites him, he warns of a dangerous imbalance. “A small group of people are building tech that affects billions. That’s a huge responsibility. We have to ensure it stays ethical, democratic, and doesn’t deepen inequality.”

When asked how people can begin their journey with AI, his advice is simple but effective:
“Spend 30 minutes a day exploring. Learn how to talk to tools like ChatGPT. Build your digital instincts. Prompting is a superpower.”

For Aamir, AI isn’t a monster under the bed. It’s a mirror — reflecting who we are, what we value, and where we’re heading.

From the heat of Aligarh kitchens to the cool innovation hubs of Australia, Aamir’s story is one of bold beginnings and boundless possibilities.

He’s not just watching the world change — he’s helping shape it.
