Lokesh Dharmani: Breaking Fashion Norms with Confidence and Creativity
When asked about the most stylish actors in Bollywood, Lokesh names Vijay Varma, Aparshakti Khurana, and Babil Khan. “Vijay’s fashion game has evolved so much. Aparshakti experiments a lot with jewelry—pearls, rings, everything. And Babil? He wears loose pants like I do. His style is effortless yet impactful,” he explains.

In an exclusive interview with Who’s That, Lokesh Dharmani shares his thoughts on fashion, individuality, and breaking traditional style rules. Known for his experimental approach to fashion, Lokesh believes that style is an extension of personality rather than just following trends.
“I always wanted my right,” he says, hinting at his desire to express himself freely through fashion. His life motto is ‘live and let live’, and this philosophy reflects in his fashion choices as well. To him, every outfit should be a piece of art, a statement of self-expression.
Lokesh questions the hesitation men have in experimenting with fashion, especially when it comes to bold choices like prints and accessories. “Four years ago, someone told me that you can’t wear print on print. But why not? If it’s aesthetically pleasing, why should we limit ourselves?” he challenges.

His fashion inspirations are deeply tied to his love for New York, a city that has influenced much of his personal style. He believes that trends come and go, but true style is about confidence. “One person follows a trend, and suddenly, everyone does the same. But fashion is not just about copying—it’s about owning your look,” he says.

For Lokesh, there’s a huge difference between being stylish and just being good-looking. “A lot of celebrities are conventionally attractive, but that doesn’t always mean they are stylish. True style is about having a unique identity,” he emphasizes.
With a fearless attitude toward fashion and an eye for bold, artistic choices, Lokesh Dharmani is redefining style norms—one experimental outfit at a time.

From Finance to Beauty: How Hair Rani is Transforming the Hair Extension Industry

For years, she thrived in the corporate world of finance, never imagining she would one day enter the beauty industry. But today, she founded Hair Rani, a brand redefining the hair extension market with premium, high-quality products designed to empower women.
“It all started as a joke,” she recalls. Friends and colleagues often say, “Can I steal your hair?” or “Can I cut your hair and make extensions?” She laughed it off—until she started researching and discovered a huge gap in the market.
Realizing how many women struggled to find natural-looking, high-quality hair extensions, she saw an opportunity. That’s when Hair Rani was born—a brand that provides luxurious, durable, and ultra-realistic extensions for women who want to feel their best.
With a finance background but no experience in beauty, stepping into a new industry was a challenge. “I’ve only ever worked in the corporate world, but I knew I wanted to help women. Hair Rani isn’t just about extensions—it’s about confidence and self-expression.”
She spent months sourcing the best hair, testing different textures, and perfecting the product to create extensions that not only looked great but also felt comfortable and natural. The goal was clear: Hair Rani would stand for quality, trust, and empowerment.
Transitioning from structured corporate life to entrepreneurship came with obstacles. “In finance, it’s all about logic and numbers. In beauty, it’s about emotions, personal style, and self-confidence. I had to learn everything from scratch.”

But her dedication paid off. Today, Hair Rani is gaining momentum, with women praising the brand for its realistic, easy-to-use extensions. “The best part is hearing customers say, ‘Hair Rani has changed my life—I finally feel like myself again.’ That makes all the hard work worth it.”
Through Hair Rani, she is proving that the best business ideas often come from unexpected moments. What started as a joke has now become a leading brand in the hair extension industry, helping women everywhere look and feel their absolute best.

Anum Rajwani: Redefining Modest Fashion with Luxury and Personalization

Who’s That recently sat down with Pakistani fashion designer Anum Rajwani, who is making waves in the luxury modest fashion industry. Known for her unique in-house prints and high-quality fabrics, Rajwani is creating a niche in the premium fashion market with her elegant yet modern designs.
Rajwani emphasizes that fashion is more than just style—it’s about how an outfit feels on the body and the confidence it instills in the wearer. “If you’re spending money on luxury clothing, you deserve the best quality, design, and fit,” she says. Her brand does not compromise on these elements, ensuring that each piece is meticulously crafted.
One of the key differentiators of her brand is the use of exclusive prints. “I design my own prints, which means you won’t find them anywhere else in the market,” she explains. This exclusivity, combined with luxurious fabrics, places her collections in the price range of 800 to 3,000 dirhams.
Rajwani also offers customization, allowing clients to tailor designs to their personal style preferences. However, she draws the line at custom sizing, as managing individual fits can be overwhelming. Instead, her brand provides a wide range of sizes to accommodate different body types.
Attention to detail is at the heart of Rajwani’s work. She believes that even the smallest flaws—like a loosely stitched button—can impact the overall outfit. “My mother would say to let it go, but I can’t. Everything must be perfect,” she insists.
Discussing the pricing dynamics between Dubai and Karachi, Rajwani acknowledges the challenge of maintaining a consistent price point in both markets. “Dubai prices are higher due to operational costs, but I try to keep them as fair as possible for my clients,” she says.
Beyond aesthetics, Rajwani observes that modest fashion is evolving to meet the changing needs of women worldwide. “There is a clear shift towards inclusivity and sustainability,” she notes. “Traditional designs are now merging with modern aesthetics, making them more appealing to a diverse audience.”
As modest fashion continues to gain traction, designers like Anum Rajwani are at the forefront, blending cultural heritage with contemporary fashion sensibilities. Her vision is clear: to offer luxury, exclusivity, and confidence to every woman who wears her designs.
